Prof. Viktor V. Fomin, Vice-rector for Research and Healthcare (Sechenov University), and Prof. Sergey K. Ternovoy, head of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy (Sechenov University), took part in the 1st International Symposium on Medical Education “Global Perspectives of Medical Education”.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Kuninori Takagi, Chairman of Narita University. The main moderator was Prof. John Mahoney (Dean of the Medical School, University of Pittsburgh, USA).

It was held at the Narita University campus, with the lecture halls and the modern simulation center for development of practical skills. Professors of Sechenov University also visited MITA Hospital, one of the leading clinics of International University of Health and Welfare.

Moreover, the delegation of Sechenov University held a meeting with representatives of the Radiology Department of the International University of Health and Welfare. Both sides decided to continue mutual scientific and practical work based on the Russian-Japanese Cardiac Imaging Training Center of Sechenov University.
