The international conference on the new educational technologies #EdCrunch Tomsk was held on May 30- June 1, 2018. One of the most significant events of the conference was symposium dedicated to the Digital Technologies in Medical Education. Sechenov University as a coordinator of the national platform of electronic medical education participated in the meeting.

Ms. Natalia Serova, Director of the Institute of Electronic Medical Education of Sechenov University, made a report on the first results & prospects of formation of the national platform of electronic medical education. Representatives of the other medical universities have also shared their experience in e-education. It was agreed to continue joint cooperation on development of e-education.

#EdCrunch Tomsk is Siberian branch of one of the largest European conferences in new educational technologies in secondary, higher and professional education #EdCrunch-2018. The key idea of #EdCrunchTomsk is adaptation of educational technologies to the psychological features of the new generation of Advanced Learning Technologies (ALT), where the ALT ideology is improvement of the traditional educational process into a new format of advanced education based on intelligent learning environment. The conference is held within the framework of the national project "Modern digital educational environment in the Russian Federation".
