Tissue Engineering Laboratory

International Tissue Engineering Laboratory works in close coordination with

laboratories at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and other leading Russian

and foreign research centers. Headed by Professor Stephen F. Badilak – a thought leader in the

field of regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biological scaffolds (Hirsch index- 80, more

than 300 articles in scientific journals) – the laboratory is an international competence hub for

tissue engineering that aims at developing innovational methods for damaged organ

regeneration.

Tissue Engineering Laboratory has well-stocked cleanrooms to carry out cell culture in

a clean environment, with modern equipment for high-performance screening and fundamental

cell research.
