Key issues of Sino-Russian medical education and prospects of mutual cooperation were discussed in Saratov The joint meeting of the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU) and Association "Council of rectors of medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions" was held at Saratov State Medical University on July 6, 2017.
Rectors & vice-rectors of the Russian and Chinese universities gathered together to discuss key issues of cooperation in the field of training of highly qualified specialists and to identify the most prospective areas for joint educational and research activities in the framework of ASRMU.
During the last 3 years about 15 international conferences were organized by both Sechenov University and Harbin Medical University. More than 2 thousand students from Russia and China participated in the mutual exchange academic programs and internships.
The Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine at Clinical hospital of Saratov State Medical University was officially opened on July 7, 2017. It would help to borrow the best experiences and achievements of colleagues from China
The rectors of both countries emphasized the importance of such meetings, which implement mutual scientific and educational projects.
It was agreed to develop further collaboration under the framework of ASRMU in accordance with the current Sino-Russian relations and global trends of the medical education.
