The 4th Sechenov International Biomedical Summit will take place on 17–18 November 2020.
Next week, Sechenov University will be hosting the 4th Sechenov International Biomedical Summit (SIBS 2020). The event is scheduled for 17–18 November 2020. This year, because of the spread of the COVID-19 disease, the summit has been moved to these dates — and will take place online.
The conference will focus on regenerative, translational, and personalised medicine, as well as bioengineering. It is a major event in the field of biomedical sciences, where the best talents and leaders from across the globe come together and share their ideas and perspective. The summit will hear from a number of scientists from the leading research centres of Russia, including Sechenov University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk State University, National Medical Research Centre of Oncology (St Petersburg), Central Research Institute of Epidemiology (Moscow), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), ITMO University (St Petersburg), and Saratov State University. Some participants will be from the country’s pharmaceutical companies. There will also be a considerable number of international speakers — from the UK, the US, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, Slovenia, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland, China, and Iran.
The registration for online participation closes on 16 November 2020. Most sessions will be held online, while the speakers will have an option to deliver their talks from the studios arranged at the Congress Centre of Sechenov University (8, Trubetskaya Ulitsa, Moscow 119991, Russia). The chairpersons will moderate the sessions from these studios. Before the conference commences, the Technical Secretariat will contact each speaker to discuss the details of the talks and test the connection.
