In recent years medical training at Sechenov University is becoming more and more popular among foreign students in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf. However some candidates do not have enough relevant information about the University, the conditions of admission and education, training opportunities and research work. In order to attract talented students Director of the Center for International Education of the University (Prof. Oleg S. Glazachev) together with the partner company "Simatex United" presented educational programs at the prestigious international educational exhibition "Global Education Fairs-2018", which was held in Dubai on March 2-4, 2018.
During 3 days the University's exhibition stand was visited by more than 300 prospective students. Specialist programs “General Medicine" and "Dentistry" are traditionally popular among the foreign prospective students. At the same time, specialist programs "Bioengineering" & “Biotechnology" and some other master’s & postgraduate programs, which are taught in English-language, also start to be of interest to foreigners. It opens new perspectives for international recognition of Sechenov University. Without doubt, it also requires significant efforts from the University faculty to organize the training of foreign specialists in accordance with all international standards.

It should be noted that among more than 100 participants Russia was represented only by Sechenov University and Peoples ' Friendship University.
