Sechenov University has joined the Academic Initiative of IBM to explore ways for improvement the training of future IT specialists and data analysts in medicine using open standards, open source software and modern IBM technologies.
"The global goal of Sechenov University is to become an international authority in the field of life sciences. The modern specialist should be fluent in big data analytics. Joining the IBM Academic Initiative will help us to improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of IT and analytics in medicine and thus give a new impetus to scientific research at the university. In the future, the development of such competencies at the University could provide the necessary skills and new knowledge to support Important advances in health and technology innovation,” said Prof. Petr V. Glybochko, rector, Sechenov University.
