In the beginning of 2018 year 20 of reports made by Sechenov University’s specialists were adopted by European and American societies of urologists. It was happened for the first time in the history of Sechenov University and Russian Urology. The Congresses of these organizations are the largest professional forums that determine the trends of world urology. Each of the congresses may gather together about 15 thousand people. The team of doctors of Sechenov University will make 11 reports reports at the European Association of Urology Congress (EAU Congress-2018) in Copenhagen.  Video-reports made by the University’s professors have attracted the most attention. Firstly, Sechenov University at such urological events was represented only by Prof. Dmitry Enikeev, Vice-Head of the Institute of Urology & Nephrology at the World Congress of Endourology (WCE), Congresses of the European, American, Chinese society of urologists.
Reports which were selected for participation in the Congress-2018 are the following: laser and robotic surgery, 3D- modeling, methods of treatment of erectile dysfunction and others. It means that the scientific development of the University goes in different directions.The ranking of scientific activity, which was introduced by Rector’s order in 2017, is regarded as an important impetus.
