Приказом Ректора Первого МГМУ им.И.М.Сеченова академика РАН П.В.Глыбочко в ноябре 2016 г. в составе Института профессионального образования Первого МГМУ им.И.М.Сеченова была создана кафедра нейрохирургии на базе Федерального центра нейрохирургии в г. Тюмени (заведующий кафедрой и руководитель центра Суфианов Альберт Акрамович).
На Ученом Совете 7 ноября 2016 г. Ректор университета Петр Витальевич Глыбочко отметил: «Мы впервые открываем кафедру за пределами региона. Центр в Тюмени очень достойный, с хорошими международными связями». Почему бы и нет – ведь еще Михаил Ломоносов говорил, что «российское могущество прирастать будет Сибирью и Северным океаном».
History
By the order of the Rector of the First Moscow State Medical University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Petr Glybochko, in November 2016, the Department of Neurosurgery was established as part of the Institute of Professional Education of the First Moscow State Medical University at the premises of Federal Neurosurgery Center in Tyumen (head of the academic department and Chief physician and Medical director is prof. Sufianov).
At the Academic Council on November 7, 2016, Rector of the University Petr Glybochko said: "It’s an exclusive event that we are opening a department outside of our region. Federal Centre of Neusorugery in Tyumen is very respectable, with good international connections. " Why not - after all, it was Mikhail Lomonosov who said that "the Russian power will grow with Siberia and North Ocean."
